Take a virtual tour of the house with this video

This beautiful stone and exposed beam house dates from Napoleon’s time, and has been tastefully restored to the highest standards in order to combine modern convenience and traditional charm. The house (220m2 living space) with its original tiled floors is furnished throughout with antique style furniture and Persian rugs. It is located 2.5 km. from Gonfaron, a small Provencal village, and set in a landscaped garden (2000m2) with a traditional Provencal fountain, a pool, and is surrounded by vineyards leading to the hills and forest of the Massif des Maures.

The property has two entrances at opposite ends of the property, secured by iron gates that are operated by remote control, making it an ideal rental for two families or one family with several cars. Only 15 minutes from the A8 autoroute exit at Le Luc, there is rapid access to Nice and Marseille airports (both 1.5 hr away) and the Toulon airport (45 minutes). The TGV will get you to Paris in 4 hours from the nearby town Les Arcs. Aix-en-Provence is 45 minutes west, and St. Tropez and the fishing ports and beaches of the Cote d’Azur are 40 minutes South & Southeast.

Everyday there is a typical Provencal market day in a nearby town, such as the colorful one at Lorgues, but for convenience a Leclerc supermarket is within 15 minutes of the house. Whether you choose to explore medieval hill top villages such as Les Arcs, or hike the breathtaking Gorges de Verdon, or swim at the many beaches along the coast, you will always enjoy coming back to the tranquility and beauty of Cinq Cypres.
